Kynrem | An Incredible Waterfall And Abundantly Blessed By Nature
Kynrem
waterfall counted as the 7th tallest waterfalls in India is positioned at a
distance of 12kms from Cherrapunji in the East Khasi Hills. The amazing
waterfall is three-tiered waterfalls and is vertically 305m long. As the
waterfall is the highest one and is situated in a mountain surrounded by lush
green nature, it can be seen from afar. The wonderful waterfall is the amazing
creation of nature. Especially in monsoon, when the peak of the waterfall is
covered with clouds, it seems as if the stream is coming down from heaven to
earth.

During the
heyday, in the rainy season, some parallel streams can be seen, however, the
falls extremely dry up during the summer days.

Park which is the main source of this waterfall is abundantly blessed by the
nature and is also the main lookout deck to enjoy the most panoramic view of
falls. The Park is well known for its botanical garden and gives shelter for
many species. The beneath the waterfall, there is a small Truss bridge that
helps tourists to get close to the falls. Apart from this, there are several
other watching decks for observing the waterfall.

With this marvelous waterfall, tourists can also enjoy the amazing mountain view as well as the sound of nature which helps to decompress the weariness of city life and which gives some sweet memories for the future. To visit the waterfall, visitors have to hire a four-wheeler.
